Hard Coat Anodized per Mil-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2
THESE RECEIVER EXTENSIONS CAN ALSO BE USED ON MOST AR-10s.
*NOTE* These buffer tubes require a M16 rifle action spring and specific BCM MK2 buffer, carbine and rifle buffers will NOT work.

Installed on my 308 AR with rigld buffer spring and 5.5 oz buffer. Feels like there is less recoil compared to my other 308 with carbine buffer.
Quality item. Well made. Works well with all other A5 buffer accessories
You know anything BCM makes it top notch quality and to top it off there service can not be beat at the same time I ordered this I had 2 other orders that the company’s kept delaying because of the virus.....BCM shipped them that day and it was in my mailbox in 2 days compared to the other 9+days
The A5 system developed by VLTOR and fielded by the USMC is an awesome upgrade. Compared to the conventional carbine length receiver extension and buffer. It effectively reduces felt recoil.
I bought this buffer tube to use a Vltor A5 system as it's impossible to find one from them. The fit for the buffer and springy green spring is perfect and snug. The finish of the tube is exactly what you would expect from BCM and that's why I picked it.
I have 2 of these buffer tubes on new builds ..tough to review with the shortage / backorder on the A5H2 buffers for these tubes
BCM always pulls through with the best quality gear.
Silky smooth finish inside and out, well machined, works 100% with VLTOR A5H2 buffer and Tubb flatspring
I couldnt get a competitors A5 Receiver Extension kit and so I decided to give this one a try, it is well made and structurally very solid, worked great with a JP rifle spring and Vltor buffer.
