This BCM stripped barrel is machined from a 410 stainless steel. It features hand lapped button rifling with a 1/8 twist rate and M4 feedramps. To give the shooter the best balance of weight and accuracy this BCM Mk12 barrel has a mid-weight profile and a rifle length gas system. (410 stainless is a harder and more corrosion resistant than the conventional 416 stainless found in most barrels.)
 
DLC Coating stands for diamond-lkike carbon coating, and is a nanocomposite coating that has unique properties of natural diamond low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance.

    BCM 18" Ionbond Black Barrel

    This is the best barrel I've ever owned, including Noveske! I built up a Mk12 Mod 0 Rifle using this barrel and BH 75 gr and 77 gr ammo. On paper it shoots .5 MOA at 200 meters and hit steel ram silhouettes at 500 meters (546 yds.) every time with ease. Even knocked off 2 half-sized rams and a grouse silhouette at the same distance. This barrel is awesome. I couldn't be happier!

    Shoots lights out with Black Hills 75gr. BTHP ammo. Very pleased with this barrel.
