Another outstanding product from BCM. It replaced my old castle nut that was a bit marred during disassembly for a Cerakote I did. It's a little softer than I expected; I put it on and tried to torque it without a vice or magwell block, and in doing so I put a very slight deformation in one of the notch corners. But hell, it's on a BCM rifle that's going to get beat to shit anyway, and I'm positive it will stand the test of time.

I'm only mentioning this because it mattered to me and is the main reason I ordered: Excellent phosphate finish and good steel. I had picked up a much cheaper one from a local store, and it appeared to have a rough blued finish and the steel was softer, lower quality. I replaced it with this one because, well, it irked me.
No complaints here. It does the job fine.
Looked on other web sites and they cost more and were not in stock. Bravo Company had the extension castle nut in stock and a very good price. Two days after i placed the order i had the product. The quality of the castle nuts was excellent.
