I had a regular carbine buffer in my 300blk pistol build I had been making. It shot supers just fine but would fail to reliably cycle with subs. This buffer tube fixed the issue completely. It can now fire supers and subs reliably. No issues.
You need different buffers on hand for either replacement or tuning. BCM equipment is the best out there and these buffers are no exception.

I purchased this buffer in lieu of the recommended setup for 300 blk. This buffer provides a considerable reduction in felt recoil and assists with proper cycling with the 300 blk cartridge. I wanted to see the difference for myself, so I made sure to shoot 10 rounds with the traditional buffer weight. I couldn't wait to put the H3 back in. My shoulder thanked me for using this, and yours will too!

The H3 buffer works as advertised. Installing it got rid of my bolt bounce problem and gave me a solid lock up every time. I've been building AR pattern rifles for 7 years, and this is one of the best buffers I've ever used in a rifle. Highly recommend especially if you are looking to eliminate bolt bounce.
