I don't where the other reviewers got their info but mainly only SBR's under 8in's or 7.62' SBR's 12-14 use these buffers. I own over 10+ SBR's both in AR,AK and none buffer types and all my AR SBR's are piston guns. But anyway even my 10in, 8in ones use H2 buffers. My HKMR556 with 416 10in upper also H2's. Only my 12 in Sig 762 uses a H3.
Why one would need a buffer such as this for a powder puff round like the 5.45 is a mystery to me. nor would a 6.8 which is basically a 7.62x39 also strange as it would be sorta like over sprung unless the 6.8 was SBR'ed. But anyway don't know the full story so I'll stop there.
