    PKMR may not be the best option.

    If you're looking for aesthetics, the PKMR may not be your best option, as it doesn't cover up the delta ring like the Magpul MOE-SL does (partially). The top of the PKMR looks like a strange, out-of-place braid and doesn't appear to have much purpose. The keymod inserts are a bit shallow to where I did meet some resistance inserting my QD sling as it butted against the metal plate underneath. It does appear slimmer than the Magpul handguards (that don't offer QD attachments to my knowledge), but didn't offer any net improvement in function, as the QD points weren't readily usable.
