Built to the correct Mil-Specs
(Inside Diameter for barrel extension slightly undersized for a tighter fit to the barrel and a more accurate rifle. Please use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up threaded bore of receiver if barrel extension is too tight.)

 

Precision machined to correct Mil-Specs from 7075 T6 Forgings extension, providing the user with superior strength when dropped or when mortaring malfunction clearance drills.

Fully Assembled with forward assist, and ejection port cover

Mil-Std 1913 Rail for mounting optics and accessories

Machined for use with barrels that use an M4 barrel extension

Laser etched T-markings for addressing the remounting of optics

Includes Mil-Spec Forward Assist with heat treated tool steel pawl, with press fit and pinned cap

Hard Coat Anodized per Mil-A-8625F, Type III, Class2

Dry Film Lube on interior bore per Mil-Specs

    Fits perfectly aboard my Anderson lower in both fit and finish. Ordered on a Friday and surprisingly showed up on the following Monday, very impressed!

    Very tight fit to barrel

    BCM mentions the tight fit to the barrel. With my MAS Defense barrel and the BCM upper, the fit was extremely tight. I had to use an industrial heat gun set on high to really get the upper quite hot to expand it. Then I still had to tap the barrel in with a rubber mallet. I doubt I will ever get the barrel back out. But this is OK with me. There will never be any play between upper and barrel as the gun goes through hot and cold cycles.

    Upper reciever

    Shipping was fast. This was my first upper project. Very nice tight fit.
    I was able to run over 50 rounds through it the other day with no problems.
    And cheaper than competitors.

    I'm still acquiring all the pieces for this build, but from what I can tell this upper seems to be a high quality item. Did a test fit with my spiral fluted barrel from Bear Creek Arsenal, and it is definitely a snug fit. Can wait to finish assembly.

    As always BCM is great to do business with.

    Nice but

    It's a standard reciever, just wish it had markings on it stating it's a bcm upper reciever
