All the advantages and features of Bravo Company's KeyMod™ Rail, now available in 100% aluminum

 

Manufactured from aluminum, it is lightweight yet durable. Also featuring a proprietary patent pending mounting, indexing and lock up system that mitigates 12:00 rail movement under heat generated from the barrel nut.

 

Handguard alone weighs 7.8oz!

The KMR barrel nut will fit over all mil-spec diameter barrels (max of 1")

Mounting hardware, 2.4oz, for a total of 10.2oz on a very long 13 rail.

 

The KMR Alpha is hardcoat anodized for corrosion resistance as well as to maintain a non-reflective finish.

 

The KeyMod interface system was developed by Eric Kincel (now the Director of BCM's product development team) to work in parallel with the current picatinny system. In many applications it will advance modularity past the current 1913 rail system.

 

The BCM KMR Alpha also allows for a larger range of modularity offering 4 different offset mounting positions between traditional 3,6,9, and 12:00 positions.

 

In the most basic of applications the KeyMod system allows for universal modularity between various manufacturers of accessories, and accessory rails. A big win for the trigger puller. As the industry advances the modular accessories will mount directly to the KeyMod instead of picatinny, allowing for a lighter, cleaner, and less bulky weapon system.

Please note: Nylon/Polymer Picatinny rail sections are for NON-load bearing accessories only. For load bearing accessories, we recommend aluminum Picatinny rail sections. Do NOT exceed 20 in/lbs. when securing KeyMod Fasteners on Polymer accessories. Aluminum Picatinny rail sections may be torqued to 30 in/lbs

    Very nice

    Bought this to replace the rail on my FN 15. It is super lightweight and machined very well. If you're looking for keymod you can't go wrong with this.

    BEST HANDGUARD

    Very thin, low profile, light weight, sturdy and durable. Extremely pleased with my decision to go with this handguard. Plenty of options to go with the KeyMod set up. And it looks great! I get tons of compliments on the range with the look and feel of this handguard. It was a little tough to install; however, the confidence I have that it is not moving AT ALL was worth the little bit of trouble in putting it on. Keep up the amazing work BCM!

    Expectations exceeded

    I waited a long time to order the KMR Handguard because I wanted to be sure it's what I "needed". It dropped the weight of my AR to the point that it's shocking. And the way it attaches is where it exceeded my expectations. It's really in a class of its own. And STILL the best shipping of anyone out there. Super fast!

    Great rail, super light, install is overly tedious

    I love this rail, don't get me wrong, it looks great, it is crazy light, however the install is absurd and removal if needed is going to be nuts.

    Also, mine was delivered blemished and when I sent an email with pictures to BC all they told me was "clean it"... not real sure how I feel about that...


    Finally ad to remove this one, or I guess I should say try to remove it... I gave up for fear of damaging the guard and/or the rifle and just left everything as is and built another rifle instead.

    KMR Rail

    Well designed product, with strong retention to the barrel nut. We used a Palmetto 18", 223 Wylde barrel that was Installed by Wild West Guns, Anchorage, Alaska for $80, and that included purchase of the rifle length gas tube and low profile gas block. Turned out great and would recommend Bravo Company to others. They supply quality products and provide outstanding support/customer service.
