All the advantages and features of Bravo Company's KeyMod™ Rail, now available in 100% aluminum

 

Manufactured from aluminum, it is lightweight yet durable. Also featuring a proprietary patent pending mounting, indexing and lock up system that mitigates 12:00 rail movement under heat generated from the barrel nut.

 

Handguard alone weighs 7.8oz!

Handguard flares forward (towards muzzle end) at the 3 and 9 O'clock positions approximately 1/4"

The KMR barrel nut will fit over all mil-spec diameter barrels (max of 1")

Mounting hardware, 2.4oz, for a total of 10.2oz on a very long 13 rail.

 

The KMR Alpha is hardcoat anodized for corrosion resistance as well as to maintain a non-reflective finish.

 

The KeyMod interface system was developed by Eric Kincel (now the Director of BCM's product development team) to work in parallel with the current picatinny system. In many applications it will advance modularity past the current 1913 rail system.

 

The BCM KMR Alpha also allows for a larger range of modularity offering 4 different offset mounting positions between traditional 3,6,9, and 12:00 positions.

 

In the most basic of applications the KeyMod system allows for universal modularity between various manufacturers of accessories, and accessory rails. A big win for the trigger puller. As the industry advances the modular accessories will mount directly to the KeyMod instead of picatinny, allowing for a lighter, cleaner, and less bulky weapon system.

Please note: Nylon/Polymer Picatinny rail sections are for NON-load bearing accessories only. For load bearing accessories, we recommend aluminum Picatinny rail sections. Do NOT exceed 20 in/lbs. when securing KeyMod Fasteners on Polymer accessories. Aluminum Picatinny rail sections may be torqued to 30 in/lbs

    I already own 2 original KMR keymod rails. A 13" and a 15". When these Alpha's became available, I couldn't resist the urge to pick one up. Every bit as nice as the original, with an additional 2 oz. in weight and substantial savings if your on a budget.

    13 in rail

    Put this rail on my 14.5in 556 upper .. Feels great...!! BCM did good with this rail 2 ounces difference from the original KMR but for the price I won't miss them ounces ... Recommend !!

    Love the way the rail looks. But I dont have the expertise to install so gunsmith supposed to install tomorrow. Fair price and super fast shipping. Looking forward to a really light but strong HG.

    Easy to install, light weight

    I have a KMR 13 on another rifle, and decided to try the Alpha on my second build. It's lightweight, easy to install, instructions are clear and simple. Looks good, and has the quality you would expect from BCM.

    Another great product

    This rail is another great product from Bravo Company. With this rail I get most of the benefits of the KMR handguard at a much lower price. The only difference is you don't have the extreme light weight of the original KMR but the great handling and the slim attachments are all the same, at a price that is comparable with most of the other rail systems on the market.

    Light and comfortable

    After been in a standoff that lasted almost 5 hrs, I decided I needed to get rid of my heavy quad rail on my DDm4. The kmr alpha is super light and comfortable. Great product.
