All the advantages and features of Bravo Company's KeyMod™ Rail, now available in 100% aluminum

 

Manufactured from aluminum, it is lightweight yet durable. Also featuring a proprietary patent pending mounting, indexing and lock up system that mitigates 12:00 rail movement under heat generated from the barrel nut.

 

Handguard alone weighs 7.8oz!

The KMR barrel nut will fit over all mil-spec diameter barrels (max of 1")

Mounting hardware, 2.4oz, for a total of 10.2oz on a very long 13 rail.

 

The KMR Alpha is hardcoat anodized for corrosion resistance as well as to maintain a non-reflective finish.

 

The KeyMod interface system was developed by Eric Kincel (now the Director of BCM's product development team) to work in parallel with the current picatinny system. In many applications it will advance modularity past the current 1913 rail system.

 

The BCM KMR Alpha also allows for a larger range of modularity offering 4 different offset mounting positions between traditional 3,6,9, and 12:00 positions.

 

In the most basic of applications the KeyMod system allows for universal modularity between various manufacturers of accessories, and accessory rails. A big win for the trigger puller. As the industry advances the modular accessories will mount directly to the KeyMod instead of picatinny, allowing for a lighter, cleaner, and less bulky weapon system.

Please note: Nylon/Polymer Picatinny rail sections are for NON-load bearing accessories only. For load bearing accessories, we recommend aluminum Picatinny rail sections. Do NOT exceed 20 in/lbs. when securing KeyMod Fasteners on Polymer accessories. Aluminum Picatinny rail sections may be torqued to 30 in/lbs

    13" KMR Handguard

    Very great quality and excellent quality. I was very impressed with how great they looked and the overall feel of them. They are the perfect addition to my build and would recommend them to anyone.

    13" KeyMod Free Float Handguard

    Handguard looks awesome. Communication with BCM hs been very helpful and they haven't made me feel like a dumb@$$!! Construction is top notch, if it says MIL-SPEC, you can bank on it. I will not hesitate to buy anything that BCM offers. Yes, THAT GOOD.

    Buy this rail.

    This rail is beautiful. I have smaller hands than most men and the control I have while doing a traditional grip is perfect. I highly recommend you purchase some variation of this rail. I will be buying another for my next build.

    BCM KMR ALPHA 13 HANDGUARD

    I've built countless AR15 platform guns in every configuration imaginable. Most of the builds I've done have used all top-shelf components.

    I just finished my first build that included a BCM KeyMod handguard. This particular build was special for me, as it was for my youngest son. It's a tradition in my family that each child builds his or her first AR when they turn 13.

    This handguard is hands-down one the very finest I've ever worked with. The construction quality and finish are about as perfect as can be. It is so lightweight, that you can actually feel the difference when compared to builds using other handguards.

    Installation is a breeze. There are very few parts to have to deal with, and it took on a few minutes from start to finish.

    Once installed, we were thrilled with the strength, slender profile and overall feel of this handguard. I has quickly become my new personal favorite.

    Bravo Company hit it out of the park with this one.

    Solid handguard

    I looked at a lot of handguard sand have several other brands for my other rifles. This one is on a Wilson combat .458 socom. It fit nice an snug has good solid feel. I like the barrel nut and how it bolts together. My only gripe is the interface with the wrench they provide. I think they could do better but it's minor. I really like this rail and recommend it and will probably buy another for future builds. Really good feel in my hands
