All the advantages and features of Bravo Company's KeyMod™ Rail, now available in 100% aluminum

Manufactured from aluminum, it is lightweight yet durable. Also featuring a proprietary patent pending mounting, indexing and lock up system that mitigates 12:00 rail movement under heat generated from the barrel nut.

 

Handguard alone weighs 6.2oz!

Mounting hardware, 2.4oz, for a total of 8.6oz on a 10 rail.

The KMR barrel nut will fit over all mil-spec diameter barrels (max of 1")

The KMR Alpha is hardcoat anodized for corrosion resistance as well as to maintain a non-reflective finish.

The KeyMod interface system was developed by Eric Kincel (now the Director of BCM's product development team) to work in parallel with the current picatinny system. In many applications it will advance modularity past the current 1913 rail system.

The BCM® KMR Alpha also allows for a larger range of modularity offering 4 different offset mounting positions between traditional 3,6,9, and 12:00 positions.

In the most basic of applications the KeyMod system allows for universal modularity between various manufacturers of accessories, and accessory rails. A big win for the trigger puller. As the industry advances the modular accessories will mount directly to the KeyMod instead of picatinny, allowing for a lighter, cleaner, and less bulky weapon system.

Please note: Nylon/Polymer Picatinny rail sections are for NON-load bearing accessories only. For load bearing accessories, we recommend aluminum Picatinny rail sections. Do NOT exceed 20 in/lbs. when securing KeyMod Fasteners on Polymer accessories. Aluminum Picatinny rail sections may be torqued to 30 in/lbs

    Excellent product

    This was my first build and I could not believe how light the hand rail was. The installation of the hand guard was not difficult other than getting it over the barrel nut even with heating it up. Still would give it a 10 out of ten tho.

    Its in the details!

    The attention to detail and workmanship is second to none. Assembly was challenging but doable by my self. Fit one of these to your rifle and enjoy!

    ALPHA Rail

    Love this rail ! Should have bought this sooner . Goes perfect with my 14.5 mid length BCM barrel and like how it's flush with the gas block . Simple and clean .

    KMR Alpha 10

    Installed on my Smith & Wesson M&P 15 and AAC 300 Blackout. Both installs turned out great and totally changed the look and feel of this two firearms. Great product from a great company.

    BCM KMR *ALPHA* 10 Handguard

    An innovative hand guard using the key-mod system. Fit and finish as well as appearance on the rifle is excellent. The cross bolt retention solidly locks the hand guard.

    Looks awesome on weapon

    What can you say. Looks freaking awesome on weapon and lock up is super snug. Was actually easier than expected to install. Follow directions and use a heat gun and it will go on no problem. Had to use a rubber mallet with light taps for last little adjustment. Other than that fits perfect. Like the retention system with cross bolt lock up. It's not going anywhere

    Good stuff

    I bought a 10 " rail very happy with product. Fit and finish perfect. I love the smaller diameter for my smaller hands. I'll be upgrading a couple more of my AR'S.

    First Class Handguard

    This handguard was the easiest I've ever installed on an AR 15 you don't have to worry about aligning up screws to the barrel nut or getting the rail lined up perfectly it all comes together in minutes. The quality is first class if you're thinking about this handguard go for it's great!
    I won't be using any other handguard on my builds from now on !
