I wish it had a spring in it. That would be very helpful. You have to depress the button and lift it into position. But it is very robust and I trust this to last.
These feel great. Its nice that they lock in the up position. The lock is very strong

Pricier than other iron sights, but when you receive it you can tell it's worth it. Suggest buying the sighting key for it.

I like Troy or the BCM made by Troy sights because they lock in place when up and stay down without rattling when not in use. There are no exposed springs to get clogged with dirt or to rust. Also, when up they are at the perfect height looking thru the center of an Eotech.
While the BCM sights are simply OEM Troy battle sights just with BCM branding that could be purchased a little cheaper from Troy suppliers, I elected for supporting BCM and consistent branding on my RECCE. Easy ordering and prompt shipping as usual with BCM.
Not much to say, works as expected with the quality of BCM that is so well known. Will add though we had a few other guys with iron sights and they all envied my BCM.
havent seen the stuff in person yet (currently deployed) but the pictures I have received from my wife look great and quick delivery as well.
