The NSWC CRANE developed Sopmod Buttstock was born from the unique needs of Special Operation Forces. B5 Systems has taken the venerable design of the Sopmod Buttstock and incorporated the features sought by military professionals and firearm enthusiasts. Building upon its exceptional cheek weld and storage capabilities the B5 Systems Enhanced Sopmod Buttstock features an ambidextrous quick disconnect sling swivel mount, color matching hardware, and construction of milspec materials and finishes. The B5 Systems Enhanced Sopmod Buttstock is available in molded colors of Black and Flat Dark Earth.

    Better than the old ones

    Always preferred this stock but ran CTRs forever because they were locking and snug. The b5 has none of the rattle and play in the Crane/LMT sopmod. If you like the cheek weld it’s a great choice.

    Excellent Stock

    I did not buy this item from BCM but did eventually get one. This stock is probably one of my favorites! Really solid fit (BCM complete lower), plenty of adjustments, cheek weld is great and overall quality is superb. I was really worried that because there was no locking mechanism like there is on the Magpul CTR that the B5 Enhanced would have some wobble but it's totally solid!

    Going forward It's going to be really hard to look at anything else. I probably won't use the battery/storage compartments but they are nice to have just in case.

    For those wondering: From what I can see, it seems as though the cheek weld on this stock is more pronounced than on the regular (non-enhanced) B5 stock.

    stock was delivered quickly. seems to possibly have a blemish on top. lever is more loose than i expected. seems to tighten a bit by turning screw.

    stock is tight and has little to no movement. i would buy it again
