One of the few issues I have with the KMR handguard are the relatively sharp edges that rim the top picatinny rail. The soft, low profile rail cover is the answer - it snaps in and out easily and covers the hard aluminum edges without being obtrusive. You can hardly tell it's there so it doesn't spoil the look of the rail, but it feels so much better on your hands. it's easily cut to accommodate add-ons like iron sights and is a must-have for any pica rail that you'll be gripping with your hands and fingers.
