Description

Daniel Defense is proud to announce the release of our Fixed Back Up Iron Sight. The lightweight, streamline design makes it the optimum back up iron sight for shooters using today's most popular reflex optics. Its well thought out design does not impede the use of the charging handle on M4 type rifles. The one piece design makes it easy to install to any Military Specification flattop upper receiver and the sight is secured to the upper using a slotted fastener which is threaded into a self-locking steel thread insert.

Machined from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and Military Specification Hard Coat Anodized, our Fixed Back Up Iron Sight is both lightweight and durable.

Mounts easy and securely. Good quality machining and finish work. Provides good sight picture with a lower profile than other sights I've tried.

Top quality excelent workmenship rear iron sight

Posted by William Droste on Dec 8th 2015

I was looking for an iron sight and I wasn't in a big hurry finding one until a family member a Marine told me about Daniel Defiance and Bravo Company. He recommended the A1.5 Fixed rear sight. I saw it on the web sight and after reading the specs I knew that I made a great choice. It was shipped to me in two days. You won't be disappointed with this sight, it will last for years to come, and you can believe that.

    Perfect

Posted by Ben on Sep 10th 2013

Sight mounts solid with a great sight picture. The groups shot with this sight indicate there is no movement. I am assuming an A-1 sight tool would be best to adjust this but an fmj and a flathead screwdriver does the trick too. I got tired of "High quality" flip up sights not staying at zero so I think this will do the trick. BCM again gave great service and fast shipping.

    Great sight

Posted by Phil on Feb 2nd 2013

Guys w/ lower 1/3rd setups...you will love this sight. It is very sturdy, excellent build quality and finish. I used it as a primary until I got my Aimpoint, it was nothing short of excellent.

Be aware, this is not a same plane aperture so your zero will change when you change apertures. If you run an aimpoint/eotech then just zero on the small peep at your preferred distance and do the same with your optic. Great sight, fast shipping as always from BCM. Thanks Guys!

    best non flip backup

Posted by matt jenkins on Mar 30th 2011

great quality theres a reason these things sell out so quick. if a flip sight doesnt seem solid or sturdy and you still want room for gadgets up top best sight bar non. it comes oiled and with "loc tite" or sum thread adhesive when shipped.

High Quality Fixed Rear Apature Sights

Posted by Tye on Mar 1st 2010

I mounted these rear sights on the BCM BFH 16" Mid Length upper, and am very pleased with their performance. Using the smaller apature at both 50 and 100 yards is working well for the build. I've not done a closer range grouping with the larger apature as of yet, but anticipate it yielding quality results as well.
